REP, AIDE AIM TO KEEP MIDDLESEX SENATE SEAT ROOTED IN ARLINGTON

STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, APRIL 20, 2017....The race to succeed the late Sen. Kenneth Donnelly is shaping up to be an Arlington family affair on the Democratic side with state Rep. Sean Garballey formally entering the race Thursday and another Arlington Democrat expected to launch her campaign next week.
Garballey, 32, made it official on Thursday, pulling nomination papers to run for the Senate seat opened by the death of Donnelly earlier this month. He posted his intention to run on Facebook Tuesday.
