MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT GROWS TO $382 MILLION

Four people came close to winning Tuesday's $350 million Mega Millions jackpot -- missing the "Mega Ball" and winning a measly $1 million -- so the multi-state draw game's jackpot has climbed to at least $382 million for Friday's drawing.

The jackpot was last hit on April 28 -- 29 drawings ago -- when a Southern California man won $61 million. The cash option for Friday's jackpot is estimated at $238 million, the Massachusetts Lottery said.
