PILGRIM GETS MARCHING ORDERS, AND A "GREEN" FINDING FROM NRC
Operating under enhanced oversight since September 2015, Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth has received a letter from the federal government documenting the actions its owners are committed to in response to safety concerns.
According to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, through its Aug. 2 confirmatory action letter the agency "points out that if the actions described are effectively implemented, Pilgrim’s performance deficiencies will be substantially addressed."
