LYNN LAWMAKERS PITCH FERRY AS SERVICE IS SET TO END
Sen. Thomas McGee and Rep. Brendan Crighton, two of the three lawmakers who represent Lynn, pitched state transportation officials on establishing year-round ferry service between their North Shore city and Boston, arguing that reliable ferry service will ease traffic and assist in Lynn's development.
"The ferry has been a huge boost for our region and it is something we hear about all the time from our constituents," Crighton told the MassDOT Board of Directors at its meeting Monday.
