HOUSE POISED TO REVISIT GUV'S SPENDING CUTS

The House on Wednesday intends to add back some of the $320 million in spending that Gov. Charlie Baker stripped from the fiscal 2018 budget.

Ahead of the House's first formal session in about two months, no details have emerged about how much spending the House intends to pump back into the roughly $40 billion annual budget. "It's not going to be a great amount of them," House Speaker Robert DeLeo told reporters Monday.
