SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS TO STEP UP SUBSTANCE MISUSE EDUCATION

[Story Developing] Students at the nine social work schools in Massachusetts will learn about preventing and treating substance misuse under an agreement worked out by the Baker administration.

Health and Human Services Secretary Marylou Sudders said Tuesday that addiction treatment has been seen as a specialty in the social work field but it will now be "infused" throughout a social worker's education.
