BAKER COMMITTED TO CLEAN POWER PLAN TARGETS AS FEDS PROPOSE REPEAL
The Baker administration has signaled its intent to meet the targets set under President Barack Obama's Clean Power Plan, which the Trump administration is repealing amid claims that it was improperly issued and is inconsistent with the federal Clean Air Act.
In the latest break between Republican Gov. Charlie Baker and Republican President Donald Trump, the Baker administration on Tuesday issued a statement committing itself to the targets of Obama's plan.
