DIEHL AND SUPER PAC CALL ON WARREN TO RETURN AFFLECK $$$

State Rep. Geoff Diehl and a Republican super PAC aligned with his campaign for U.S. Senate quickly called on Sen. Elizabeth Warren to return at least $10,400 donated to her campaigns by actor Ben Affleck after the Cambridge native apologized Wednesday to an actress that accused him of groping her on television.

Diehl used Twitter to call on Warren to "rid her campaign war chest" of money from Affleck shortly before the Deal Her Out super PAC blasted out a similar message via email. The Diehl campaign and the super PAC are not allowed to coordinate, but the PAC can take its cues from Diehl's public satements.
