BAKER EXPECTING LAWMAKERS TO "GET DOWN TO BUSINESS"
A day after the Senate upended its leadership and opened an investigation into one of its members, Gov. Charlie Baker said he expects the Legislature to "get down to business" when formal sessions resume in January.
"I fully expect the Legislature's going to come back in January and get down to the business of all of the things that are pending before the body," Baker told reporters Tuesday afternoon.
