LOCAL LEADERS CHEER $200M FOR ROAD REPAIRS DESPITE UNMET NEED
The announcement from Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito elicited applause and at least one shout of, "Yay!" at the Local Government Advisory Commission meeting on Tuesday.
The room of selectmen, town administrators and education board members were cheering the news that the Baker administration had filed its annual $200 million local road repair bill on Tuesday.
