NY JUDGE ISSUES DACA INJUNCTION IN CASE BROUGHT BY AG

A New York judge sided with Attorney General Maura Healey and 16 other state attorneys general on Tuesday in their case against the Trump administration to protect the so-called "Dreamers" from deportation, issuing a preliminary injunction that would prevent any changes while legal challenges are pending.

Healey and other Democratic attorneys general filed a lawsuit in September in the U.S. District Court for Eastern New York seeking to block the Trump administration from ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals programs.
