CHARTER SCHOOL TEACHERS, STAFF CHOOSE TO JOIN UNION
Teachers and staff at two independently operated charter schools in Boston have elected to join the Boston Teachers Union, a choice that the union says represents a first in the city.
The union announced Wednesday that teachers and staff from the City on a Hill Circuit Street School and the City on a Hill Dudley Square School "declared overwhelmingly that that are unionizing" to advocate for improved teacher retention, equitable pay, increased budget transparency and other issues.
