MBTA EMPLOYEE UNION SUPPORTING GONZALEZ FOR GOVERNOR
Saying Massachusetts is heading in a "dangerous direction," a union representing MBTA employees is backing Democrat Jay Gonzalez in the 2018 race for governor.
"Jay knows that privatizing core public functions, like our transportation system, has only served to help enrich corporations and wealthy individuals, while doing nothing to improve service," Tim Lasker, president of the Office & Professional Employees International Union Local 453, said in a statement.
