SUFFOLK, MIDDLESEX PUBLIC ADMINISTRATORS REAPPOINTED

Public administrators in two counties were reappointed Wednesday for five-year terms by the Governor's Council.

Public administrators are assigned by the courts to review and process the estates of people who die without a will or heir. After assessing the estate for their fee, the administrator turns over the remaining money to the state treasury.
