NORTH ADAMS REP. CARIDDI DIES IN BOSTON HOSPITAL AT 63

BOSTON, JUNE 17, 2017.....Rep. Gailanne Cariddi, a longtime North Adams city councilor and business owner who has represented parts of Berkshire County on Beacon Hill since 2011, died Saturday morning, according to local media and House officials. She was 63.
The Berkshire Eagle reported that Cariddi died at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness, citing North Adams Mayor Richard Alcombright.
