SANTA, PINO NOMINATED FOR PAROLE BOARD, DISTRICT COURT

STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, OCT. 11, 2017...Colette Santa, who spent two decades working as a corrections official in Puerto Rico and Massachusetts, was nominated Wednesday for a position on the Parole Board to succeed Ina Howard-Hogan.
Since March 2016, Santa has been chief of transitional services for the Massachusetts Parole Board.
In Puerto Rico, Santa worked for Corrections Corporation of America, a prison management vendor that has rebranded itself as CoreCivic. Santa was deputy warden and later warden of Ponce Young Adult Facility.
