SENATE BUDGET AFFIRMS HILL'S PURSUIT OF BIZ HEALTH CARE CONTRIBUTIONS

STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, MAY 16, 2017.....It appears almost certain now that some Massachusetts employers will be called upon to make new contributions to help the state pay for surging Medicaid costs.
Senate leaders put forward a budget proposal Tuesday that authorizes Gov. Charlie Baker to pursue one of two options to collect new funds from businesses.
