SCIBAK, DWYER JOIN VETERAN HOUSE DEMS NOT SEEKING RE-ELECTION

STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, FEB. 12, 2018....Rep. John Scibak, the House chair of the Higher Education Committee, will not seek re-election this fall after 15 years on Beacon Hill, joining a handful of veteran House Democrats who are calling it quits.

The South Hadley Democrat wrote in a Facebook post that he made the announcement at an event in his hometown Sunday and plans to "make the most of these next 10 months and finish strong."
