7/28/20 12:12 AM
The House Monday evening dispensed with around 60 amendments to its economic development legislation, debating proposals that sought to boost affordable housing and approving some changes to the part of the bill that would legalize sports wagering in Massachusetts. One of two bulk amendments approved during Monday's deliberations included a demand on the Gaming Commission for a report on the status of the Region C casino license by October. The branch plans to return at 10 a.m. Tuesday to continue working through the hundreds of remaining amendments. - Sam Doran
