Coalition: Avoided Deaths, Asthma Cases Underscore Need for TCI

The multi-state initiative that would cut transportation sector emissions and cause higher gas prices would lead to health benefits in mid-Atlantic and Northeast states worth $11.1 billion by 2032, according to a new study, which forecasts fewer deaths and asthma cases as a result of a more aggressive approach toward tailpipe pollution.
