SOLAR PROJECT PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR CHOSEN, RFP ISSUED

Utility companies in Massachusetts have chosen a program administrator and issued a request for proposals in an attempt to procure eligible solar projects with the capacity to deliver 100 megawatts of power statewide.

Eversource, National Grid and Unitil have selected CLEAResult as administrator of the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) program, according to the Department of Energy Resources. The distribution companies on Monday issued their RFP for projects in their service territories.
