MEETING WITH CAPE RETAILERS SWAMPED BY HEFNER-SENATE PROBE
Cape Cod retailers will have to wait a little longer to express their views about competitiveness issues after the Senate postponed hearings planned for Monday in Harwich and Barnstable.
The hearings were called off Friday after senators realized they'll need to instead be on Beacon Hill Monday where they plan to consider an order calling for an independent investigation into sexual assault and harassment allegations against Bryon Hefner, the husband of Senate President Stanley Rosenberg.
