GARBALLEY OFFICIALLY ENTERS SPECIAL ELECTION FOR SENATE

[Developing] Rep. Sean Garballey, a fifth-term Democrat from Arlington, made it official on Thursday morning announcing that he would seek the Senate seat opened by the death of Kenneth Donnelly.

Garballey entered the House in 2009 as one of its youngest members, and focused on what he described as "work that might not be glamorous, but makes a real difference in people’s lives," including funding for hearing aids for low-income children, support for social workers and higher education funding.
