CLF INTENDS LAWSUIT AGAINST SAUGUS LANDFILL OPERATOR
Alleging violations of federal resource conservation and clean water laws, a Boston-based foundation announced plans Monday to sue the operators of an ash landfill in Saugus, saying Wheelabrator has failed to monitor and track water quality in the surrounding area.
The Conservation Law Foundation notified Wheelabrator Technologies of its intend to file a civil lawsuit in federal court "to secure appropriate relief under federal law ... "
