MBTA OKAYS $64.3 MIL CONTRACT FOR BRAINTREE GARAGES
Parking garages at the Braintree and Quincy Adams stations are due to receive an upgrade after the MBTA's Fiscal and Management Control Board authorized a $64.3 million construction contract Monday.
McCourt/Consigli JV1 offered the lowest price for the work and beat out rivals, including Barletta Heavy Division, Inc. and J.F. White Contracting Co. The project is expected to take four years to complete.
