CENSUS LOOKING TO FILL 1,000 JOBS IN PROVIDENCE AREA
As the 2020 Census nears, the federal government is circulating word this week about the availability of 1,000 part-time temporary jobs just over the Massachusetts border in the Providence, R.I. area.
The U.S. Census Bureau is accepting applications for field supervisor and office jobs, but it's mostly looking for enumerators for the 2018 Census Test, or people who will be paid $21.25 per hour to contact residents of Providence County to complete their census questionnaires.
