GIFFORD REPORTS $500K IN CD3 CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS
Former Ambassador to Denmark Rufus Gifford raised $500,000 in his first seven weeks of campaigning for the Third Congressional District, his campaign announced Thursday, making him the second of the 13 Democrats to disclose their year end haul after Dan Koh announced his second straight quarter of more than $800,000 raised.
Gifford, who settled in Concord after returning from Denmark where he was an ambassador in the Obama administration, said his donations came from more than 1,100 contributors, and 75 percent of donations were for $100 or less.
