COUNCIL OKAYS PLYMOUTH COURT NOMINEE, RECEIVES PLYMOUTH COURT PICK
Quincy District Court nominee Jeffrey Clifford of Pembroke, a former assistant district attorney in both Norfolk and Suffolk counties, was unanimously confirmed Wednesday by the Governor's Council.
Clifford, nominated to the bench by Gov. Charlie Baker, opened his private law practice in 2007, and also previously worked as assistant regional counsel in the Boston Department of Social Services and as assistant general counsel at the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents. He served in the Persian Gulf War and in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
