KIRK LEAVING ADMIN TO TAKE TOP JOB AT MASSTECH
A top Baker administration housing and economic development official is leaving her position to start work Monday as the new executive director of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.
Carolyn Kirk, the former mayor of Gloucester, has been serving as MassTech's interim executive director since June 2018 while also serving as deputy secretary for housing and economic development. Within the administration, Kirk has worked to advance broadband expansion, projects in coastal communities and cybersecurity efforts, officials said.
