HEARINGS ON EDUCATION BUDGET, FUNDING BILLS SET FOR NEXT WEEK
The Legislature appears to be prioritizing its review of education funding reform plans, scheduling an early session hearing on 16 school finance bills for Friday, March 22.
The committee has booked the State House's largest hearing space, Gardner Auditorium, for the 10 a.m. hearing, which will unfold as the Joint Ways and Means Committee is vetting the annual budget, a document with significant education funding.
