ANTHONY JOINS PIONEER, PLANS TO FOCUS ON HEALTH CARE COSTS

The conservative-leaning Pioneer Institute, which has strong ties to Gov. Charlie Baker, has added another high-profile fellow to its stable, signing up Deval Patrick's former consumer protection czar to work on health care policy. Barbara Anthony, the state's former undersecretary for Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, will officially join the institute on Wednesday as a consultant and senior fellow.
