An elected official's questioning of a judicial nominee's faith has spilled into her re-election campaign as the opponent running to unseat Governor's Councilor Eileen Duff has demanded an apology. Duff, a Gloucester Democrat, last Wednesday probed James Gavin Reardon Jr., nominated for a Superior Court judgeship, about whether his purported Roman Catholic faith would color his decisions from the bench.
