BAKER OUTLINES TNC SAFETY BILL, SEEKS CONGESTION DATA

Ride-hailing companies such as Uber and Lyft would face a range of new safety and data-collection regulations under legislation outlined Wednesday by Gov. Charlie Baker, measures that the administration believes will better position the state to deal with rapidly increasing use of the services and the resulting roadway congestion.
