The Senate on Thursday passed health care legislation (S 2769) dealing with telemedicine, scope of practice, and out of network billing issues. Over the course of nearly four hours, Senate lawmakers dealt with 70 amendments, including provisions that deal with personal protective equipment, patient access barriers, and continuity of care.
