With a vote Thursday to extend the Legislature's ability to hold formal lawmaking sessions into January 2021, it isn't quite an end-of-session push, but the Senate in rapid succession passed a number of priorities to limit the use of step therapy, professionally license midwives, and establish criminal penalties for the practice of female genital mutilation.
