The Senate on Monday agreed to admit a proposed extension of the COVID-19 emergency moratorium on evictions and foreclosures, which expired on Saturday, and sent the bill to the Committee on Housing. Rep. Mike Connolly's bill (HD 5349) seeks to extend the moratorium until Jan. 1, 2021, or 45 days after the COVID-19 state of emergency is lifted.
