House Session Summary - Monday, Feb. 22

The House approved a home rule petition (H 67) canceling a special mayoral election in Boston that could be triggered if the U.S. Senate confirms Boston Mayor Marty Walsh as labor secretary by March 5. The House is next in session on Tuesday at 11 a.m. but the Senate does not convene until Thursday, when action on the home rule petition is possible. - Chris Van Buskirk
