As bills start to trickle into the clerk's office, the Senate met briefly Monday and placed on file reports detailing estimated versus actual revenues for fiscal 2020, federal funding during the second quarter of fiscal 2021, and telephone wiretap activity in Norfolk County. The session-starting bill-filing season was extended last week to run until mid-February, giving lawmakers an extra month to get in their proposals for timely committee hearings.
