Senate Session Summary - Monday, Aug. 8

Charlie Baker to sign into law the state Legislature's clean energy and climate policy bill. Monday's Senate session also featured re-enactment of a fiscal 2023 budget section dealing with a "common app" for needs-based benefit programs, and a still-further amendment to a bill aiming to reduce traffic fatalities.
