Senate Session Summary - Monday, Feb. 28

The Senate on Monday queued up two bills for Thursday's formal session dealing with access to menstrual products and maternal postpartum care. New drafts were polled out of the Ways and Means Committee earlier in the morning. Also Monday, the Senate agreed to give three extra months to the Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy Committee to act on a heap of bills in its custody dealing with topics like renewable energy, green jobs, bottle redemption, municipal lighting plants, vehicle emissions, and natural gas safety.
