Work Begins to Lay Undersea Cables for Vineyard Wind

Vineyard Wind has begun laying the cables that will bring electricity generated by its first-in-the-nation utility-scale wind farm into the regional grid starting next year. While much of the work is taking place well out at sea, the company said it will start "nearshore cable work" off the southern coast of Cape Cod in the coming days.
