STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, MARCH 15, 2019....Two months after his surprise election to become state Republican Party chairman, Jim Lyons's to-do list is long.

Most of the staff at party headquarters has turned over, the fundraising pressures that come with the job will soon start to mount, and the MassGOP is in need of a major morale lift after taking a punch at the ballot box in 2018.
