DUCK BOAT SAFETY, ETHICS TASK FORCE BILLS MOVING FORWARD IN HOUSE

STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, NOV. 3, 2016.....A bill instituting new safety requirements for duck boats and a resolve creating an ethics task force began moving through the House on Thursday, along with nine other bills.
Speaker Robert DeLeo floated the idea of an ethics task force in February and filed his resolve (H 4627) in June, proposing a joint review by the two legislative branches and Gov. Charlie Baker's administration of the state's myriad conflict of interest, campaign finance and disclosure, and lobbying laws and regulations.
