CALLS MOUNT FOR INVESTIGATION INTO THORNTON FIRM POLITICAL GIVING

STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, NOV. 4, 2016....Attorney General Maura Healey appeared to suggest Thursday that investigations into the Thornton law firm are underway by state and federal regulatory authorities.
An aide later clarified that Healey expects that the authorities are investigating or will launch investigations soon, while deferring questions about that to the agencies themselves.
